Saturday 24th September

West Coast ride – 100km & 1700m

The first 12km is up hill and over the Col de Soller, you then descend the other side and out through Bunyola and the Orient valley.  You then head east through the almond trees to Establiments and Puigpunyent before stopping at La Granga for a well earned snack.  After the coffee stop you climb Coll den Claret before riding through the flat Valldemossa Valley.  You then head along the cliff top coast line passing through the pretty village of Deia and then descending down into Soller

Coll d’Honor – 4.7km at an average of 6%

Coll den Claret – 3.7km at an average of 4.6%

Sunday 25th September

Time Trial Sa Calobra – 9.4km & 600m
Return to Bunyola – 80km & 800m

Total distance – 110km & 1900m

The 70km ride takes you to the heart of Mallorca and the vineyards.  On the coastal road towards the Lluc Monastery, you will gaze to your left enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and views across the open sea.  At the Lluc turn, you descend 8km through the fir trees to the village of Caimari.   We then head out through Buger to the winelands and back via Santa Maria to Bunyola.

We end our ride in Bunyola, a pretty little Mallorca village boasting a cute little square and imposing church.

Feature climbs

Sa Calobra – 10km at average of 7.1%.  The serpent has 26 harpin turns and climbs 668m
